About St. Paul's Lutheran School

St. Paul's Lutheran School is looking for a dependable, caring, and patient  Teacher's Aide to support our preschool classroom and after-school program.

This is a great  entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young children and wants to gain valuable experience in an educational setting. You will work alongside our lead teachers and school staff to help create a safe, nurturing, and positive environment where children can learn and grow.

Previous classroom or childcare experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right person.

What You'll Do

• Assist the lead teacher with daily classroom activities and routines
• Help supervise and engage preschool students throughout the day
• Support students during learning activities, playtime, meals, and transitions
• Assist with the after-school program and provide age-appropriate supervision
• Help prepare and organize classroom materials and activities
• Keep the classroom clean, organized, and welcoming
• Encourage positive behavior and help children follow classroom expectations
• Provide individual attention and assistance to students when needed
• Communicate with teachers and school staff regarding student needs
• Follow school policies and safety procedures
• Help create a positive, respectful, and nurturing classroom environment

What We're Looking For

• A genuine interest in working with young children
• Patient, caring, and dependable personality
• Ability to follow directions and work well with teachers and staff
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to remain attentive while supervising children
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous childcare, preschool, babysitting, or classroom experience is a plus but  not required
• Willingness to learn and take direction
