Computing Instruction Lecturer — Shape CS Education

Job Summary The School of Computing Instruction (SCI) at Georgia Institute of Technology seeks full‑time, long‑term faculty for Lecturer and Senior Lecturer positions. The official appointment depends on past teaching experience. Positions are renewable with an expected start in January 2025 on the Atlanta campus. Summer teaching and study‑abroad opportunities are available. Location Atlanta, Georgia Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality undergraduate teaching, typically 2‑3 courses per semester, supported by a teaching assistant for every 25 students.
• Teach graduate courses when matched to appropriate offerings.
• Participate in service at the School, College, and Institute level.
• Engage in scholarship and curriculum development, with a faculty earmarked budget for such activities.

Artificial Intelligence Capstone Design Computer Organization/Architecture Databases Discrete Math Mobile Application Development Software Engineering Usability and User Experience Web Development Required Qualifications Graduate degree in Computer Science or a related area. For Senior Lecturer: at least six (6) years of full‑time, relevant experience.
