Per Diem OB Hospitalist Opportunity – Southern California

A well-established women's health program is seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN to provide per diem OB Hospitalist coverage. This opportunity offers 24-hour in-house shifts within a community hospital setting supported by Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Neonatology specialists.

Compensation: Orientation: $110/hr, Hourly: $215/hr, Holiday: $270/hr.

This role is ideal for physicians seeking flexible scheduling while practicing comprehensive obstetric care in a collaborative environment.

Schedule

Community Hospital

Level III NICU

Supported by affiliated Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Neonatology services

Clinical Responsibilities

Labor and delivery coverage

Delivery attendance

OB triage

Patient evaluation and management

Surgical first assist duties

Fetal monitoring

Emergency Department OB/GYN coverage

Management of obstetric emergencies

Volume

Approximately 30 deliveries per month

Support Services

Maternal-Fetal Medicine support

Neonatology support

Level III NICU resources

Collaborative multidisciplinary care team

Qualifications

Required

Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology

Active California Medical License

Minimum of one year post-residency clinical experience

Current NPDB Self-Query dated within 30 days of presentation

Completed prescreen questionnaire

Updated CV in MM/YYYY format with all employment gaps explained
