The Director of Client Services will own a portfolio of strategic client relationships , serving as the primary business partner responsible for account growth , executive stakeholder engagement, and long-term partnership development . This role requires deep expertise in eCommerce , digital commerce strategy , and software delivery , with the ability to advise senior leaders, identify growth opportunities, and translate business objectives into actionable consulting and product engagements.

Salary: $155,000 - $175,000

Director of Client Services Requirements

\n

\n
• 6+ years of experience in eCommerce , commerce strategy , digital product consulting , or senior account leadership within a technology or digital product environment.
\n
• Deep understanding of commerce platforms , purchase journeys, conversion optimization, customer experience, and business growth drivers.
\n
• Proven ability to build relationships with VP-level and Director-level stakeholders and influence strategic business decisions.
\n
• Experience developing account growth strategies, identifying expansion opportunities, and driving revenue within existing client relationships.
\n
• Strong business acumen with experience discussing budgets , pricing , contracts , and investment decisions with clients.
\n
• Ability to translate complex business goals into clearly defined projects, engagements, and delivery plans.
\n
• Strong understanding of software development, eCommerce, digital product delivery, and technology roadmaps .
\n
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
\n
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Director of Client Services Duties

• Own and grow a portfolio of strategic client accounts through relationship development, account planning, and opportunity identification.
\n
• Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and serve as a strategic advisor on commerce and digital product initiatives.
\n
• Identify new business opportunities, expansion areas, organizational changes, and market developments that create growth potential.
\n
• Lead client business reviews, strategic discussions, account planning sessions, and proposal development efforts.
\n
• Partner with internal product and delivery teams to align client objectives with execution strategies and project opportunities.
\n
• Translate client goals, challenges, and priorities into scoped engagements and actionable statements of work.
\n
• Support revenue forecasting, pipeline visibility, account planning, and business development activities.
\n
• Manage contract renewals, extensions, change requests, scope discussions, pricing conversations, and commercial negotiations.
\n
• Coordinate stakeholder engagement across client organizations to strengthen relationships and expand organizational influence.
\n
• Monitor account health, budget utilization, client satisfaction, and potential risks while ensuring proactive communication and resolution.
\n
• Serve as a liaison between executive stakeholders and delivery teams, ensuring business priorities and delivery realities remain aligned.

• Present industry insights, market trends, and commerce best practices to help clients make informed strategic decisions.
