DATA ENTRY SPECIALIST

7 Data Entry Specialists - $20.70hr Are you detail-oriented, comfortable with computers, and looking for an opportunity to build experience in records and data management? We are hiring for 7 Data Entry Specialists for a long term project to support records operations in Freehold, NJ . This Data Entry Specialist role combines computer work, barcode scanning, file organization, and customer service in a warehouse environment. Responsibilities of the Data Entry Specialist: Accurately scan and process customer file barcodes using a handheld scanner and laptop. Identify and account for working papers within the records management system. Retrieve, organize, and process client files according to established procedures. Sort scanned files according to system results and properly re-box and organize files. Move completed boxes to designated pallets and locations. Assist with box audits, inventory, and records retrieval requests. Troubleshoot issues, prioritize tasks, and communicate professionally with internal client teams. Requirements for the Data Entry Specialist: 0–1 year of experience in records management, data entry, or a related field preferred. Strong data entry, computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook/email . Comfortable using handheld barcode scanners and learning records management systems. Ability to routinely lift, handle, and maneuver file boxes weighing up to 35 lbs. Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately process repetitive information. Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a professional team. What We're Looking For: Strong academic credentials; minimum 3.0 GPA preferred. Relevant work experience such as internships, summer positions, or school jobs is welcome. Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and adapt to changing needs. Professionalism and strong ethical standards when handling client information. Ability to stand or sit as needed throughout the workday. Ability to commute to off-site job locations when required.
