This is a technical leadership role focused primarily on supporting the growth of our Environment business in Massachusetts and the other New England states. In this role, you will lead and manage teams to deliver our environment projects throughout their lifecycle from investigation to remediation to operation and maintenance. Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: Project Leadership: Management and leadership of environmental projects, including maintenance of project scope, schedule, budget, and quality through the coordination of project teams and via direct client communication.Regulatory Expert: As a licensed site professional, ensure projects meet regulatory compliance and in good standing with the Massachusetts Contingency Plan. This includes proposal preparation, field and laboratory data evaluation, workplan and report preparationTeam Leadership and Engagement: Lead and/or support client engagement teams, as appropriate, to drive growth, quality, and overall client experience. Actively champion GHD’s Client Commitment to be the partner they can rely on to achieve what matters most, by being uniquely committed, restlessly curious, naturally creative, and seamlessly connected.Engage with GHD leaders and partners across the business to lead and develop client services.Collaborate with Business Group leadership and other senior members of the business to drive positive outcomes for our clients and our employees.Develop and mentor our young professionals and graduates. What you will bring to the team:Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Engineering, Geology, Science or a related technical fieldMassachusetts Licensed Site Professional certification (Connecticut Licensed Environmental Professional also desirable)PE, PG, or other licensure considered a plusOSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER10-20 years of relative project experience including the coordination and management of projects in the environmental market, specifically within the framework of the Massachusetts Contingency PlanExperience managing multiple tasks while maintaining a high degree of attention to detailProgressive experience in client relationship development/management and business development with strong client relationships a plusExperience with contaminant transport modelling, aquifer analysis, statistical software, GIS, and/or human and ecological risk assessments a plusStrong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to conduct effective client presentations and written report preparationAbility to present technical information, both written and orally, in a concise and professional manner; must have strong technical writing skillsValid driver’s license and willingness to travel as neededIf you’re interested in this role, please submit an application!As a multicultural organization, we encourage individual achievement and recognize the strength of a diverse workforce.
