Key Responsibilities Manage employment litigation matters from inception through resolution in California state and federal courts. Represent employers in workplace disputes, employment-related claims, and labor law matters. Conduct comprehensive legal research and analyze complex employment law issues. Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, correspondence, and litigation-related documents. Develop case strategies in collaboration with partners and litigation teams. Participate in discovery management, witness preparation, and case development activities. Attend hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and other litigation proceedings. Evaluate litigation risks and provide practical recommendations to clients. Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and strategic legal guidance. Manage multiple matters while ensuring compliance with deadlines and court requirements. Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups to provide comprehensive legal solutions. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of California employment litigation experience. Strong background in employer-side employment litigation preferred. Active California Bar admission in good standing. Experience handling litigation matters in California state and federal courts. Strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent writing and verbal communication abilities. Ability to independently manage litigation matters and competing deadlines. Strong organizational and project management skills. Client-focused mindset with exceptional professional judgment.
