Accounting Manager- Broker Compensation

We work as one to achieve our vision of being the world’s most trusted, innovative, liquidity and data solutions specialist.Role OverviewThis role is within the Business Unit Control team and will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of the Broker Compensation process flows and reporting. This role will have a primary focus on the calculation, accounting and payment of broker bonuses, helping to drive process efficiencies and substantiation of the Balance Sheet.Role ResponsibilitiesSupport the end-to-end Broker Compensation process for assigned asset classes, including:Prepare bonus accrual calculations based on employment contracts, subject to Manager reviewCoordinate distribution of bonus statements and ensure timely payroll submissionsAssist in calculating and recording Broker Equity deferralsPerform initial review of Broker Compensation outputs and ensure completeness and accuracy before Manager sign-offSupport balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances, ensuring alignment with underlying calculationsContribute to process documentation and ensure updates are maintained and reviewed periodicallyActively support automation initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and providing input on process improvementsAssist in budget and forecast preparation by providing data inputs and variance analysisEnsure adherence to established controls and escalate any risks or issues identifiedSupport audit requests by preparing documentation and responding to queriesCoordinate with Finance teams and stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of outputsExperience / CompetencesCPA or Part-qualified or qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with min. 5 years of experience.Experience in financial services or similar environment preferredStrong analytical and reconciliation skillsGood organizational skills with ability to manage multiple deliverablesEffective communication skills, with ability to engage with stakeholdersProactive and solution-oriented mindsetIntermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel and finance systems (e.g., Oracle, Hubble, SmartView)Basic understanding of control frameworks and risk managementStrong attention to detail and accuracyJob Band and LevelManager, 6Not The Perfect Fit?Concerned that you may not meet the criteria precisely?
