Product Owner

Role Description Touchstone IQ is currently seeking a Software Product Owner to join our Touchstone IQ Software Product Development Team in Denver, Colorado. This role is ideal for someone who has a passion for digital products, creating engaging content, growing an engaged user base, and is driven by success. You will make an immediate impact in working to enhance the functionality of our Governments, Buildings, and Utilities SaaS products for our already rapidly growing audience. Key Responsibilities Product Owner for three existing Touchstone IQ SaaS products: Governments, Buildings, and Utilities. Collaborate with our team, clients, and prospective users to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements. Manage the product roadmap and backlog, prioritizing needs based on changing requirements. Oversee all stages of product creation including scoping, design, development, and final testing. Monitor and evaluate product progress at each stage of the process and manage expectations with internal team. Liaise with the development and internal project teams to deliver updates on priorities, timing, and needs. Participate in product planning meetings and sprints. Write technical specifications for developers for the creation of new features and maintain internal documentation of product releases. Conduct product testing for all products and collaborate with the software development and program teams to ensure improvements are made prior to deployment. Establish and maintain internal customer feedback loops — creating structured processes for capturing, tracking, and routing feedback from client‑facing teams (sales, support, customer success) into the product backlog, ensuring insights inform roadmap prioritization and are closed‑loop communicated back to the business. Update software user manuals and how-to guides, including both written manuals and training videos. Develop software release notes for the internal team and clients. Increase user retention rate across our properties by understanding our audience and recommending new features to maximize user engagement. Monitor, react to, and grow important audience KPIs such as daily user retention, time on site, RPC, and organic traffic. Qualifications & Experience Undergraduate or technical degree in related field of study or equivalent experience. Minimum of 4 years of experience in product ownership and software product development. An eye for UI/UX design and being able to communicate with designers and software developers. Sharp analytical and problem‑solving skills; Excellent knowledge of Google Analytics and web‑based KPIs. Experience working in both web‑based and mobile app products. Knowledge and ability to implement Agile principles and process. Clear, effective verbal and written communication skills including the ability to actively listen, problem solve, and communicate effectively. Strong ability to learn and understand complex software solution platforms and robust CRM tools. Comfortable exercising judgment and using analytical skills in ambiguous situations. Outstanding attention to detail combined with the ability to see the big picture. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a changing environment; proactive in seeking out information when necessary. Compensation Compensation is dependent on experience ranging from $95,000 to $110,000.
