Utilization Review Clinician - ABA

About This Role The Utilization Review Clinician - ABA performs reviews of members' care and health status related to Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) services to determine medical appropriateness. This role is ideal for candidates with expertise in ABA treatment and strong communication skills. Highlights Pay : $27.02 - $48.55 per hour Location : Remote, MO Schedule : Full Time, Day shift What You'll Do Evaluate member's care and health status before, during, and after provision of ABA services. Perform prior authorization reviews related to behavioral health to determine medical appropriateness. Analyze behavioral health member data to improve quality and appropriate utilization of services. Interact with behavioral health healthcare providers to discuss level of care and services provided. Provide education to members and their families regarding ABA and behavioral health utilization process. Provide feedback to leadership on opportunities to improve care services. Perform other duties as assigned. Comply with all policies and standards. Requirements Education Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's degree required. Master’s degree for behavioral health clinicians required. Experience 2-4 years of related experience required. 2+ years providing ABA services as a BCBA preferred. Licenses & Certifications One of the following licenses required: LCSW (License Clinical Social Worker) - required, OR LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor) - required, OR LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) - required, OR LMFT (Licensed Marital and Family Therapist) - required, OR LMHP (Licensed Mental Health Professional) - required, OR BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) - required, OR RN (Registered Nurse) - State Licensure required, OR Independent licensure with ABA experience and BCBA preferred. LBA (Licensed Behavior Analyst) where required by state - required.
