With a strong focus on reliability, innovation, and customer satisfaction, we deliver advanced power systems products that ensure uninterrupted and dependable power supply in mission-critical environments.Position DescriptionWe are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented 3rd Shift (Weekend) Supervisor to lead the Fabrication, Powder Coating and Finishing team. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for coordinating the daily operations of the third shift to ensure production schedules are met with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.Primary DutiesLead and supervise a team for fabrication, powder coating and finishing during the 1st shift, ensuring alignment with daily production goalsSupervises, trains, and hires personnel and manages the team ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and efficiency standardsEnsure adherence to daily production goals, manufacturing procedures, and quality standards.Monitor and resolve production issues, including workflow bottlenecks and equipment constraints.Provide mentorship and guidance to team members; support skills development and cross-training efforts.Monitor attendance, conduct performance reviews, and participate in hiring and disciplinary actions in coordination with HR.Maintains a clean, organized, and safe manufacturing facilityEnsures products meet customer specifications and quality expectationsConvey detailed and timely operation reports to monitor performance and inform decision-making.Experience & SkillsPreferred experience with metal fabrication or powder coating processesStrong technical understanding of electrical/mechanical assembly processes.Experience reading 3D Models, 2D drawings, and blueprints.Solid understanding of quality assurance standards and lean principles.Ability to lead employees to motivate; foster open, honest, and candid communication; and determine strengths and weaknesses.Ensure all shop employees know and follow all company safety policies and proceduresMust be able to effectively communicate with employees, other department managers, and senior management.Must be able to quickly ascertain a situation and be decisive in solving it, such as identifying defects in production.Understand production deadlines, shipping dates and must manage their time accordinglyPromote excellence throughout the departmentProvide continuous improvement in all critical activitiesAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to think critically.Ability to quickly and proficiently understand and absorb new information.Interface with other manufacturing departments, engineering, purchasing, processing, shipping and salesEducationBachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field preferred.OR Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing leadership role (electrical assembly or related field strongly preferred).Why Join Us?
