Structural Engineer - Building Design

Our client is a growing civil and structural engineering firm based in West Austin, expanding its building design team. They’re looking for a dedicated Structural Engineer (EIT or recently licensed PE) with experience in designing commercial, municipal, and educational buildings. What You’ll Do Design and analyze building structures (steel, concrete, masonry, wood) using Revit and structural analysis tools. Prepare calculations, drawings, and construction documents for commercial, municipal, and educational projects. Conduct occasional site visits to review progress and verify compliance with design specifications. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to deliver high-quality structural solutions. Support project managers and PEs in design coordination and project delivery. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s a plus). EIT certification required; PE license preferred or in progress. Minimum 2 years of experience in building design (commercial, multifamily, retail, or municipal). Proficiency in Revit (required). Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills. U.S. work authorization required; relocation assistance available for strong candidates but limited.
