Support consult services (expected patient volume 22–25 patients/day , varies by consulting needs). Provide coverage across hospital, infusion center, and outpatient practice environments. Deliver malignant hematology expertise as required for the service line. Coordinate care and continuity with available team support ( 2 MDs and 2 APPs with pagers ). Use Epic EMR to document and manage patient care (including consults and infusion‑related workflows). Participate in scheduled and on‑call responsibilities, including overnight call and highly preferred weekend coverage. What You Need Board Certification: Hematology & Oncology (both required) License: MN license (IMLC accepted) DEA: Required Certifications: BLS Experience/Clinical Fit: Malignant Hematology required Medical Oncology and infusion coverage required Availability: Overnight call required; weekend call highly preferred; continuity coverage expectations for same‑week inpatient call Preferred Overnight call and weekend coverage (weekend coverage is highly preferred) About the Assignment This assignment is a hospital‑based hematology/oncology role with coverage extending to an infusion center and outpatient setting. You will join a collaborative team of MDs and APPs supported by paging, caring for a consulting population that can vary daily, while using Epic to support clinical workflow and continuity of care.
