CNC Programmer

NyproMold is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Programmer to join our high-performance tooling team. This role is responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining CNC programs used in the manufacturing of precision molds and components. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and takes pride in producing high-quality work that meets tight tolerances and production deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for 3-axis and 5-axis machining centers using CAM software
• Interpret blueprints and CAD models to determine machining requirements
• Select appropriate tooling, cutting parameters, and machining strategies
• Collaborate with manufacturing and design personnel to ensure part requirements are met
• Continuously improving cycle times and machining processes
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality requirements

Qualifications

• 2+ years of CNC programming experience in a mold-making or precision machining environment
• Strong understanding of G-code, tooling selection, and machining strategies
• Experience with high-speed machining and tight tolerance work preferred
• Ability to read and interpret detailed technical drawings
• Knowledge and experience machine various tool steels
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Skills

• Experience programming 5-axis CNC machines
• Experience using Mastercam
• Familiarity with mold manufacturing processes
• Understanding of lean manufacturing principles
• Experience with ERP systems and production tracking

The hourly pay range for this role is $23.89 - $43.03. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
