Travel Registered Nurse PCU Job

Overview
Registered Nurse - PCU/IMCU travel assignment in Utica, NY. Start date 09/21/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay $2,190-$2,373 per week, guaranteed hours 36. Shift: 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Unit: IMCU/PCU with 64 beds (15 designated Neuro beds). Floating required in a hospital setting. EPIC experience preferred.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for IMCU/PCU patients, addressing neuro, cardiac, trauma, and respiratory conditions
- Monitor patient status, perform ongoing assessments, manage lines/tubes/equipment, and respond to deteriorations
- Administer medications and IV therapies; monitor hemodynamics; support ventilator care with RT assistance
- Document in EPIC, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and contribute to care planning and discharge planning
- Float to designated units as needed; adhere to unit policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards

Requirements
- Current New York RN license with Nursys verification; RTO must be included at submission
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (per AHA requirements)
- 2+ years of IMCU/PCU experience
- EPIC EMR experience
- Ability to work in a high-acuity IMCU/PCU with ventilator support and frequent patient turnover
- Local candidates considered with local rate eligibility (within 75 miles)
