Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
• Experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP processes, goal setting, and documentation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with faculty, students, and families
• Ability to develop tailored therapy plans for children of varying abilities
• Organized and flexible, with effective time management skills to support caseload needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to students as outlined in Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments to identify students' mobility, strength, coordination, and functional abilities
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and goals
• Collaborate regularly with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure effective therapy integration within the classroom environment
• Maintain detailed, accurate progress notes and documentation as required by school and state guidelines
• Educate and assist staff regarding adaptive strategies, equipment, and best practices for student success
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and ongoing professional development
