This is a contract role with a client located in Irvine. They do a 3 month probationary period...but the contract is 6 months with extensions...on the budget for 1 year thus far.

This role can be done remotely from the US by those authorized for work in the US. Work hours will be PST / PDT 5 days a week including Fridays.

Opening for a Lead / Sr. Privacy Business Analyst: Leading requirements gathering/doc for DSAR / data privacy (CA & VA SPI / PII, CT, CO, UT, etc) + data mapping process drawings (Visio). We are looking for a qualified Senior Privacy Business Analyst needed to support Privacy Operations, so they can work across Business and Technology teams that process SPI (Sensitive Personal Information) and PII (Personal Identifiable Information) used by us and our partners. The understanding of our processes, applications & systems will be a key objective of this role. In addition, this role will need to comply and align with the evolving US Data Privacy requirements for Privacy Operations, such as data mapping, policies, DSAR operations, consulting, business requirement documentation, web-compliance, training, reporting, auditing, and projects that support our Data Privacy initiatives. This role will have a focus on the Mapping PII data and be a key part of our Privacy Operations team.

Qualifications:

• Senior level status and experience
• 5 years of Data Privacy experience with 3 years of leading Data Privacy Operations
• Expert experience in existing US Data Privacy Laws and Regulations
• Senior Level Business Analyst skills
• Expert documentation skills that include: SOPs
• Expert experience in Data Mapping & Process Design drawings (in Visio)
• Intermediate experience with Data and System Architecture and Practices
• Experience with Web Privacy and Compliance (Jira / Confluence is a plus)
• General Data Governance & Management experience
• High understanding of:
• JIRA/Confluence
• MS Office 365, (intermediate)
• Excel (Advanced)
• Visio (intermediate)
• Web-Compliance
• Power BI (super helpful to present statistics)
• Databases
• API's
• Data Privacy Tools (right now we are using Excel & Visio, but would love someone to help us build the path towards enterprise off-the-shelf data privacy tools)
