Bartender – Hawksmoor Chicago

Chicago is the historical powerhouse of American beef, and when Hawksmoor found out about an actual powerhouse building, it felt like fate. So, after years of dreaming, we've set out eyes on coming to Chicago. And we've found ourselves a home we cannot wait to settle into.

The LaSalle Street Cable Car Powerhouse is a beautiful, designated landmark, initially opened in 1887, in the heyday of Chicago's cable care system. We intend to do it justice by restoring the original features to their former glory and, at the same time, breathe new life into the space.

Reporting to the Bar/ Beverage Manager, we're looking for a brand-new Bartender to join our team and open our second international restaurant in Chicago.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Working with the bar team to deliver excellent service and hospitality to the Hawksmoor standard.
• Focus on delivering drink quality to the highest standard and consistency.
• Working with the team with setting up, running and breaking down the bar for each service.
• Excellent rapport with your team and guests.
• Ability to expertly run the bar to ensure smooth and successful services.

To be considered for the role you will have:

• Extensive experience working in some of the best bars in Chicago.
• Experience launching and opening restaurants and bars in Chicago and the US.
• Comfortable and experienced with high volume businesses in terms of both covers and revenue.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work harmoniously with all departments.
• Exemplary product knowledge of food and beverage.
