The associate will handle a mix of litigation and counseling work, including discrimination claims, wage and hour matters, non-compete and contract disputes, employer investigations, policy drafting, and compliance training. The role requires strong communication skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to collaborate with team members in a hybrid in-office environment. Core Responsibilities Litigate employment matters in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies Advise employers on day-to-day HR and compliance issues Draft employment-related documents including: Employee handbooks Employment agreements Separation agreements Workplace policies Conduct workplace investigations Provide employment-related compliance training Participate in case strategy, discovery, motion practice, and client meetings Collaborate with team members in accordance with the firm’s 60% onsite expectation Must-Have Qualifications JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school Admitted or eligible for admission in California 3+ years of employment law experience Experience litigating employment matters before state & federal courts and administrative agencies Experience advising employers on compliance and HR-related issues Experience drafting employment policies and agreements Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to collaborate effectively in team settings Preferred Qualifications Experience conducting complex workplace investigations Experience delivering compliance trainings Ability to manage multiple matters with minimal supervisi #J-18808-Ljbffr
