Jr. Accountant

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Prepare asset, liability and capital account entries by compiling and analyze account informationDocument financial transactions by entering account informationPerform monthly bookkeeping and Accounting from clients and vendorsHandle general accounting functions (journal entries, general ledger maintenance and account reconciliationPrepare financial statementsPrepare tax documentsOther duties as assigned by managerREQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:Must have 5 years of manufacturing experienceStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to work under pressure with tight deadlinesComputer literate in Microsoft Office – with emphasis on ExcelSAPComputer literacy skills, especially with MS Excel and basic data entry and computationAnalytical skills with a keen sense of organization and detailProven time management skills and ability to work under strict deadlinesRespect for confidentiality of information laws and local ethicsExpertise in activity-based costing for fixed and variable costs in relation to the overall direct cost of a line of productsMust be respectful, honest, and demonstrate a strong work ethicEDUCATION:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or FinancePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential function of this job.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift 20 pounds at times.Must be able to access and navigate each department at organization’s facilities.may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Must be able to stand, and sit for prolonged periods of time, bend, kneel, squat, and twist. #J-18808-Ljbffr
