Technical Accountant

SNI is partnering for a VP of Technical Accounting for one of the largest firms in PE for a technical accountant over investments. Key Responsibilities Partner with fund accounting, finance teams, and third-party administrators to analyze and structure complex fund transactions Determine appropriate accounting treatment for fund activity and liaise with auditors as needed Review financial statements and filings to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP (ASC 946, ASC 820) Research and implement new accounting standards, policies, and regulatory requirements Support SOX controls and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure consistency in accounting practices Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required 3–8 years of experience in technical or fund accounting, ideally within a Big Four firm Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including ASC 946 and ASC 820 Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and solve complex, ambiguous problems Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across teams Competitive base salary and performance-based bonus Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage Retirement savings plan with firm contributions Generous paid time off, including holidays and wellness days Professional development support, including CPA and continuing education resources #J-18808-Ljbffr
