Remote Senior Staff Accountant

We are seeking a full-time, experienced Senior Staff Accountant to support and manage accounting operations and financial reporting in a fully remote capacity. This role is responsible for preparing and analyzing financial data, overseeing the month-end close process, and ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting. Experience in healthcare, community health, or similarly regulated environments is preferred. Responsibilities Manage general accountingfunctions, including full-charge bookkeeping through month-end close Prepare and analyzefinancial statements, reports, and supporting documentation Ensure compliance with GAAPand internal accounting policies Analyze financial data,identify trends, and resolve variances Oversee preparation ofinternal and external financial reports Support audits and respondto financial inquiries Maintain accurate accountingrecords and improve accounting processes Collaborate with internalteams on budgeting and financial reporting needs Compensation & Benefits Salary: $57,203 – $85,805 per year (DOE) Comprehensive health,dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Retirement plan options Stable, mission-driven workenvironment Requirements Bachelor’s degree inAccounting, Finance, or related field 8+ years of generalaccounting experience, including full-charge bookkeeping and financialstatement preparation Expert knowledge ofaccounting principles and practices Strong written and verbalcommunication skills in English Proficiency in MicrosoftOffice, with advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, graphs, data analysis) Experience with accountingsoftware; Peachtree and NextGen preferred Computer literacy withstrong attention to detail Knowledge of communityhealth centers or healthcare organizations preferred Experience with reportwriter software, programming, and Adobe Standard strongly preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
