About You You are a detailed, deadlines-driven property accounting professional ready to oversee a diverse national portfolio. You excel at delivering clean monthly financial packages, analyzing variances, and identifying process improvements. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting: Successfully complete comprehensive monthly financial reporting packages and assist the Accounting Manager with year-end audit processes. Portfolio Integration: Coordinate and streamline the accounting workflow for onboarding new properties into the portfolio. Oversight & Accuracy: Oversee the accuracy and productivity of all property management accounting activities, ensuring check runs and scheduled reports meet strict deadlines. Internal Controls: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, and client-specific accounting policies. What You'll Bring Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA designation is a strong asset. Experience: Minimum of 4 years of progressive property accounting experience, specifically within the commercial real estate industry. Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, and MRI software. Industry Know-How: Direct experience with Third-Party Property Management accounting structures.
