Patient Service Representative

To support a growing ambulatory practice, the full-time Patient Service Representative will manage inbound and outbound communications, handle patient inquiries, schedule appointments, and ensure accurate documentation while working remotely. Key responsibilities Communicate with patients and staff using various advanced communication tools, addressing inquiries in a professional and empathetic manner Schedule and reschedule appointments using a computerized system, providing detailed confirmations and instructions to patients Document patient information accurately and escalate issues outside of existing protocols to ensure optimal patient care Required qualifications High School diploma or GED is required Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Ability to explain complex healthcare issues with empathy and concern Effective interpersonal skills to interact with a diverse group of professionals Experience using multiple communication tools, including phone, email, and online chat
