Real Estate Transactions & Finance Associate (Attorney)

Overview Manatt is looking for real estate transaction associates with three to six years of experience to join our Real Estate Transactions & Finance practice to support our expanding real estate finance team. Responsibilities Contribute to a broad range of real estate transactions across asset classes and phases of development, including acquisitions, dispositions, retail and office leasing, financing, construction, development, and joint ventures. Negotiate and draft mortgage loan documents, purchase and sale agreements, and related closing documents; manage closing checklists and oversee closing processes. Draft and negotiate commercial leases, joint ventures, CC&Rs, REAs, Declarations, and easement agreements (plus related documents as needed). Support complex transactions for clients ranging from institutional owners to entrepreneurial developers and large corporate technology companies. Qualifications 3–6 years of broad transactional real estate experience Demonstrated experience with mortgage debt financing transactions (preferably borrower-side) and purchase/sale transactions Leasing and joint venture experience is a plus Excellent writing and communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Team-oriented, collaborative mindset Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently Bar membership in good standing in the jurisdiction you are practicing Compensation The base pay to be offered will vary and depend on skills and qualifications, experience, location and will also take into account internal equity. Additional medical, financial and/or other benefits will be offered dependent on the position. US Pay Range: $260,000—$390,000 USD.
