Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct engaging virtual counseling sessions tailored to the unique needs of clients, employing secure video conferencing technology.

• Perform comprehensive mental health assessments to gather relevant information and understand clients' challenges, allowing you to create personalized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to facilitate discussions and interventions addressing a variety of emotional, psychological, and behavioral concerns.

• Respond effectively to crisis situations, providing immediate support to ensure client safety and facilitate access to emergency services when necessary.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records in line with legal and ethical standards, ensuring ongoing documentation of treatment plans and progress notes.

• Educate clients on mental health conditions, self-management strategies, and relevant community resources to foster their independence and empowerment.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and social workers, to promote holistic care and address the broader spectrum of client needs.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. Qualifications\n

• A valid and current license as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the State of New York.

• A Bachelor’s degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.

• At least two years of experience providing counseling services, particularly in a telehealth or remote environment.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and foster trust with clients.

• Proficient in utilizing telehealth platforms and technology for delivering counseling services.

• Commitment to maintaining ethical standards and confidentiality in all client interactions.

• Ability to work independently, demonstrating self-motivation and organizational skills to manage differing client schedules.

• Flexibility to accommodate varying client needs and schedules, including some evening and weekend availability.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or similar modalities.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, candidates will receive a sign-on bonus as part of our commitment to attracting high-quality professionals to our team.
