Overview:

\n

The Assistant Project Manager / Estimator for Servizio (Service) department will assist in overseeing four types of projects: (1) Emergency Service Calls: Any immediate or urgent work that needs to be fixed asap. (2) Standard Service Calls: Any scope of work that is not urgent. (3) Maintenance: Bi- Yearly/Quarterly/Monthly Maintenance & Servicing. (4) Special Projects: Any considerable scope of work that requires multiple of trades and a project construction schedule.

Duties and Responsibilities:

\n

\n

\n
• Estimating: Assist the Project Manager and create bid proposals that have been approved by retail and residential clients. This includes reviewing contract documents, creating scope sheets, coordinating bid walkthrough with subs, & reviewing/submitting proposals.
\n
• Schedule: Assist and create project schedules indicating project critical path, sequencing, deliveries, & scheduled inspections.
\n
• Procurement: Coordinate required COI forms, contracts, exhibits, & POs. Quantify & discern all project deliveries + associated responsibilities in conjunction with project schedule.
\n
• Subcontractors Management : Schedule trades to be on site. Review and process all RFIs, submittals, invoicing, change orders, lien waivers, & closeouts within Sage 300 and Procore.
\n
• Client & Architect and Engineer Management : Communicate & coordinate project status, schedule, budget, invoicing, submittals, weekly reports, RFI’s, meeting minutes & change orders while maintaining positive relationships. Process all documentation in Sage 300 and Procore.
\n
• Site Supervision : Ensure safety protocols are met. Review and ensure work performed conforms to contract documents and bid. Encourage vendor’s work to meet schedule. Document site quality of work.
\n
• Review and manage project schedule with Project Manager and Site Superintendent
\n
• Set up project cost codes , Billing preparation and related paperwork for entry into Sage 300 and Procore.
\n
• Weekly financials and closeout status reports: Assist the Project Manager with the weekly reporting.
\n
• Fridays - Accounts Payable:
\n
• Collect Open Invoices & Process
\n
• Pay/Close Credit Card Invoices
\n
• Close Paid Commitments
\n
• Close Jobs
\n
• Closeouts: Close out open projects, get all appropriate sign-offs and punch lists to the finish line.
\n
• Update Servizio reports
\n

Qualifications:

\n

\n
• A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience with high end retail, luxury residential, restaurants, or commercial construction experience working for a General Contractor.
\n
• Proficient in Sage 300 and Procore.
\n
• Experience managing multiple high-end, fast track, projects simultaneously.
\n
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
\n
• Proven written and verbal communication skills.
\n
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with individuals at all levels.
\n

Physical Requirements:

\n
• Must be able to visit job sites as needed.
\n
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
\n
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
\n

Salary: $80-120k consummate with experience
