2nd CNC Shift Lead Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $26.00 to $30.00 / hour
- Full Time work available
- Second Shift ( Monday through Friday from 02:00pm to 01:03pm )
- Lead and support a team of CNC machinists to meet daily production goals.
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machining equipment.
- Monitor machine performance, tooling, and production quality.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings.
- Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring tools.
- Train, coach, and assist team members with production and quality standards.
- Coordinate workflow and prioritize jobs to maximize efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company procedures.
- Assist with machine setups, tooling changes, and minor equipment adjustments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
2nd CNC Shift Lead Qualifications:
- Recent CNC machining experience required.
- Previous team lead, lead operator experience.
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Stable work history with reliable attendance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Willingness to train on 1st Shift before moving to the permanent 2nd Shift.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
