Our organization is in search of an Emergency Medicine Physician to provide locum tenens support to address an immediate need.

• Schedule: 9-hour and 12-hour shifts in the Emergency Department; no on-call duties.
• Practice Setting: Hospital-based Emergency Department.
• Types of Cases: Emergency medicine, trauma, acute care, and coverage for a teaching hospital's emergency department.
• Credentialing Timeframe: Preference for expedited candidates; a straightforward work history is essential for quick privileging.
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic.
• Certifications Required: Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support (necessary for trauma privileges), or board certification in Emergency Medicine may exempt candidates from Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support requirements.
• Licensure Required: Active Iowa license or eligibility under the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact.
