Job Description

Mancan is looking for a Wet Grinder for a Metal Stamping Company in Brunswick!

1st Shift
Monday-Friday
6am-4pm
$18+/hr Based on experience!
OT on Saturdays when available

The Wet Grinder Set Up and Operator is responsible for the efficient operation and setup of wet grinding machines, specifically the Chevalier model. This role requires experience working with various material types, including A-2, D-2, 4142, Vanadium, and CPM, as well as proficiency in surface grinding of both soft and hardened plates and blocks to precise tolerances of .001 inches, while ensuring squareness and flatness. The operator will be tasked with setting up and executing various grinding jobs, interpreting blueprints, and utilizing measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers to maintain quality and accuracy in finished products.

Requirements
Must be able to read blueprints
Must be comfortable lifting steel plates
Must be comfortable lifting 60+ lbs
Must be comfortable bending, twisting and standing for the duration of shift.
Must be have a clean background and be able to pass a drug test
