Facility Maintenance Lead

Facility Maintenance Lead Temple Emanu-El is a busy synagogue on the East Side of Providence, RI. We need a year round friendly, reliable hands-on maintenance person for a long term commitment. Our campus is a non-smoking, non-vaping, drug-free environment. You must have experience working independently with minimal direction and also have the ability to function as a team player with our existing maintenance staff. You should be adaptable to frequently changing priorities and handle multiple ongoing projects in our large campus. The ability to learn new systems is critical. The regular work week is 35 hours from Tuesday through Saturday 7:00AM – 3:00PM. Overtime potential exists with authorization. Previous applicants need not apply Required Job Functions: Basic electrical, plumbing, painting, general building & mechanical repair Ladder use, small roof repairs or patching, exterior drain cleaning Pressure washing, deep cleaning and carpet care Computer literate (Google Suite) Must have a valid driver license and reliable transportation Landscaping, Snow Removal, Grounds maintenance Knowledge of audio/visual and livestream set-up of iPad OR the ability to learn. Event set-up and break down of chairs & tables, dishwasher use Cleaning: restrooms, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, wiping, washing, polishing, buffing & dusting of floors, carpet & upholstery, walls, windows, stairwells, offices and other areas as required. Trash and recycling removal Job Specific Physical Demands: Standing, Walking, Lifting, Bending, Pulling, Repetitive Movements. Work is conducted inside and outside in all weather.
