What you’ll need to excel in this role:

• Active Ohio Intervention Specialist license
• Previous experience working in special education settings is a plus
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Dedication to providing inclusive and supportive learning environments

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering instructional lessons tailored to students’ unique learning requirements
• Collaborating with general education teachers, aides, and other support staff to facilitate student success
• Effectively managing classroom behaviors and promoting positive social interactions
• Regularly assessing and documenting student progress to adjust instruction as needed
• Communicating with families and educational teams about student goals, achievements, and challenges
• Maintaining compliance with all district, state, and federal regulations
• Supporting students’ social, emotional, and academic development
