Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification (Intervention Specialist or equivalent)
• Experience working with high school students preferred
• Proficiency with mild to moderate disability support and the general intervention specialist model
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt instruction and interventions to suit diverse learning needs

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect instruction in inclusive classrooms as well as separate settings, utilizing the push-in/pull-out model
• Develop, implement, and track Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) geared toward student growth
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff to foster an inclusive and engaging learning environment
• Maintain accurate progress monitoring and compliance records
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians on educational plans and student progress
• Participate in staff meetings, IEP meetings, and ongoing professional development
