NGS Bioanalytical Scientist

Eurofins Agroscience Services North Carolina
- Perform and support next-generation sequencing (NGS) workflows including sample preparation library preparation sequencing and data review
- Execute routine molecular biology assays including DNA/RNA extraction purification quantification qPCR and digital PCR (dPCR)
- Generate quality data to support IND and/or BLA filings
- Communicate results and provide input to the team and project lead through meetings and in reports
- Perform quality control assessments and troubleshoot technical issues as needed
- Follow established laboratory procedures SOPs and quality guidelines to ensure consistent and accurate results
- Completed Bachelors in a scientific concentration
- Experience in Next-generation sequencing (NGS) technologies is required
- Experience with routine molecular biology assays including nucleic acid extraction and qPCR/dPCR
- Strong skills in data interpretation and quality control
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office GraphPad Prism and electronic laboratory notebooks.
- Experience with GxP and working in a regulated lab environment
- Familiarity with use of automation to generate data perform data analysis and notebook tracking to support test method execution
- Troubleshooting and reworking experiments based on data interpretation
- Experience analyzing and interpreting large data sets
