Enabling global flight, with passion.Position Summary: As an Accounting Specialist in US Shared Services, you will be responsible for cash applications of all banking related deposits and applying those deposits to the customer accounts for all US based business units. You will also perform customer compliance checks for new customers based on requests from various business unit representatives. You will be collaborating closely with the line of business operational staff, finance staff, and Sr. Manager Shared Financial Services. This hybrid role requires four days per week on-site at our Teterboro, NJ location, with one remote day. The posted hourly range will default to the applicable regional rate and will not include any premiums. The baseline range is $25.00-$30.77/hr which is equivalent to $52k - $64k annually, plus a performance-based bonus.Minimum Requirements:High School diploma or equivalentTwo-four years or more of relevant accounts receivable and/or collections experienceAble to meet deadlines and demonstrate effective follow-up on assigned tasksMust be knowledgeable and proficient in Excel to create and maintain various schedules/reportsMust have experience in Microsoft Office, and Word to produce emails and professional lettersOperational knowledge of Outlook is requiredMust be accurate and proficient in data entryMust be able to read, write and speak the English language fluentlyAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, and percentagesMain Responsibilities:Download, organize, & reconcile daily US bank deposit information from banking portalPerform daily cash applications to customer accounts in ERP systemPost cash deposits made at remote FBO locationsAssist with monthly FBO credit card reconciliationsPrepare and distribute weekly unapplied cash reportsCommunicate with internal and external customers via phone, email, etc.Review customer compliance forms for completion and accuracyPerform customer compliance checks and determine next stepsPrepare and post manual journal entries in accounting system as neededEnsure compliance with internal controlsPrepare ad-hoc reports as requestedOther duties may be assigned, as neededRepresent Jet Aviation as one company internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies and the General Dynamics networkDesired Characteristics:Autonomous, well organized, detail oriented, and accurateAble to work under pressure and multitask ensuring the results are of highest quality and accuracyAble to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines, goals, and objectivesFamiliar with aviation terminologies and flight systemExperience overseeing preparation of financial reportsStrong written and verbal communication skillsIntuitive and thinks outside-of-the-box to provide feedback and suggestions to improve processes and efficienciesStrong personal values corresponding with Jet Aviation values (Trust, Honesty, Alignment, Transparency)At Jet Aviation eligible employees can enjoy a comprehensive package that fuels your passions both inside and outside of work.
