Pump Mechanic OpportunityHire Up Staffing is currently seeking a Pump Mechanic for our Fresno client! This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity paying $21/hour.Position OverviewThe Pump Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, rebuilding, and maintaining industrial pumps and related equipment. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a shop environment.ResponsibilitiesDisassemble, inspect, repair, and rebuild industrial pumpsDiagnose mechanical issues and recommend proper repairsReplace seals, bearings, gaskets, shafts, and other componentsPerform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, and gaugesAlign motors and pumps to manufacturer specificationsMaintain a clean and organized work areaAssist with loading/unloading equipment as neededComplete repair documentation and parts inventory trackingQualificationsMinimum 2 years of mechanical experience (pump repair preferred)Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and hand/power toolsAbility to read blueprints and technical manualsHigh School Diploma or equivalentAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periodsIf you're mechanically inclined and looking for a long-term opportunity with growth potential, we'd love to connect.
