IT Infrastructure Consultant - Virtual Desktop and Application Delivery

IT Infrastructure Consultant - Virtual Desktop and Application Delivery WBS, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking an IT Infrastructure Consultant for our Green Bay, Wisconsin and Pewaukee, Wisconsin locations. This position is hybrid with time spent in the office. This position is part of the IT Infrastructure Consultant job family ranging from Associate to Senior. Experience determines level. Job Responsibilities Provide day-to-day support for the virtual desktop and application hosting environment, including a shared 24x7 on-call rotation Responsible for project work, product upgrades, and development and maintenance of virtual desktop and application standards and procedures Troubleshoot and resolve performance and other issues as they occur Collaborate with business partners in solution design Proactively monitor the virtual desktop and application hosting environment Provide assistance to application support teams’ initiatives that include design, build, and maintenance, connectivity and performance troubleshooting, disaster recovery planning, and more Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related discipline 2+ years of Citrix administration experience Understanding of the components that make up a computing network, e.g. DNS, ADFS Understanding of the protocols that are used to interact between infrastructure components, e.g. TCP/IP, LDAP Strong problem solving, communication, interpersonal and decision making skills and customer focus Ability to effectively communicate in a team environment Security Requirement This position requires unescorted access to certain critical cyber assets and requires applicants to satisfy all Company and NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection Standard 004 security requirements, which includes a background investigation.
