As a Bookkeeper at Handle It, you are a critical part of our clients’ growth. You will work directly with multiple clients and your work supports business owners who are scaling from chaos to clarity, and help them understand and feel in control of their finances. You are responsible for producing clean, accurate, timely financials that allow our senior accountants and leadership team to advise with confidence.

Location & Work Structure

The primary place of employment is Fredericksburg, TX. Handle It is located in Fredericksburg, Texas. This is a hybrid position; team members must be able to visit Fredericksburg to attend training and client meetings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Cleanup of books for new clients
• Processing payroll
• Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Transaction categorization and review
• Maintaining accurate general ledgers
• Supporting month‑end close processes
• Identifying inconsistencies or issues and escalating appropriately
• Following Handle It systems, checklists, and timelines
• Communicating clearly with internal team members
