Make a meaningful impact within a supportive high school setting as a dedicated school psychologist. This contract position offers the opportunity to work with students in grades 9-12 for the upcoming academic year. You’ll play a vital role in helping students achieve success and well-being, working alongside a collaborative team of educators and families.

Key Qualifications:

• Current New Jersey School Psychologist license required
• Experience working with high school-aged students preferred
• Proficient in conducting psychological assessments and writing comprehensive reports
• Skilled in providing individual and group counseling services
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and staff
• Ability to manage documentation and meet deadlines efficiently
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for all students

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological evaluations for students as part of the special education referral process
• Provide counseling and support services to individuals and small groups
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and recommendations
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers to support student needs
• Complete required documentation and reports in accordance with district and state guidelines
• Promote a positive school climate by offering consultation and interventions for academic, social, and emotional growth
