Key Qualifications:

• Valid NJ School Psychologist certification is required
• Demonstrated experience working with high school populations is highly preferred
• Proficient with conducting psychological evaluations and assessments
• Skilled in delivering individual and group counseling services
• Familiarity with developing and participating in IEP meetings
• Excellent skills in communication, collaboration, and documentation

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students in grades 9-12
• Deliver counseling and intervention services to support students’ academic and social-emotional development
• Participate as a vital team member in IEP meetings, ensuring appropriate services and supports for students
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop strategies that address students’ unique needs
• Maintain detailed, timely, and confidential evaluations, documentation, and reports in compliance with school and state guidelines

This position spans from early September 2026 to mid-June 2027, working approximately 32.5 hours per week during school hours (7:55am - 2:31pm). You’ll be entrusted with a caseload of approximately 35-45 high school students, providing a manageable and impactful level of support.
