Step into an impactful role serving high school students in a supportive academic environment! This full-time contract position focuses on delivering comprehensive psychological services throughout the school year, with hours from 7:55 am to 2:31 pm, Monday through Friday, averaging 32.5 hours per week. Serving a caseload of approximately 35-45 high school students, you'll be an integral part of an interdisciplinary team dedicated to student success.

Qualifications & Licensing:

• Active New Jersey School Psychologist certification required
• Experience working with high school students preferred
• Strong understanding of psychological assessment tools and counseling techniques
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, families, and staff
• Ability to manage timely, thorough documentation and reporting

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological evaluations and write assessment reports
• Provide individual and group counseling to students as needed
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing insights for student plans
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student well-being
• Maintain up-to-date records and fulfill documentation requirements
• Assist in crisis intervention and support school-wide mental health initiatives

This contract begins September 2, 2026, and runs through June 18, 2027, aligning with the academic year.
