Step into a dynamic role supporting students through occupational therapy in an educational setting. This contract opportunity, near Wilmington, DE, offers the chance to work 37.5 hours per week, blending your expertise in both on-site and teletherapy occupational therapy. Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy, with active licensure to practice
  • Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
  • Proficiency in teletherapy platforms and virtual service delivery
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and special education requirements
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Passion for working with diverse student populations

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students, both in-person and through teletherapy
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on students’ needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Document and track student performance, progress, and goal attainment
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student learning plans
  • Foster an encouraging learning environment that promotes independence and skill development
