Make a meaningful impact supporting students by helping them reach their full potential. This contract opportunity calls for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to deliver services within a school environment while also assisting with medically homebound students as needed. Enjoy the flexibility of both full-time and part-time options (up to 37.5 hours weekly), working on-site within Wilmington, DE, at locations determined by the district.

Your start date will be August 25, 2026, continuing throughout the academic year and concluding June 8, 2027. In this rewarding position, you’ll join a collaborative team, bringing your expertise to a variety of educational settings and making a real difference in students’ everyday lives.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Valid Delaware Occupational Therapist license (required for consideration)
  • Experience as a school-based Occupational Therapist or working with pediatric populations
  • Ability to adapt to different caseloads, including fluctuating numbers throughout the year
  • Flexibility to support both in-school and homebound students across elementary to high school levels
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy interventions to students in school settings as well as homebound students when needed
  • Assess students’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans focused on promoting participation and independence
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support each student’s educational goals
  • Maintain timely and accurate records, reports, and progress notes
  • Travel to assigned locations within the district as required
