Step into a valued role as an Occupational Therapist serving elementary-aged and early childhood students in a supportive school environment. This is a full-time, onsite-only contract position, spanning 8/24/26 through 6/16/27, with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule totaling 37.5 hours each week. The assignment begins by covering a maternity leave at an elementary school—sharing your time and expertise between the elementary setting and an Early Learning Center (ELC). Once the maternity leave concludes, you’ll focus solely on the ELC, ensuring continuity of care and meaningful connections with students and staff.

Candidates with school-based experience and a passion for supporting young learners will thrive here. COTAs are not being considered for this opportunity.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current, active state license as an Occupational Therapist
  • Previous experience working in schools preferred
  • Skilled in completing evaluations and delivering direct OT interventions
  • Ability to connect with elementary and early childhood populations
  • Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy evaluations and direct services per students’ IEPs and individual needs
  • Split time between elementary and early childhood settings as designated
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, educators, families, and support staff
  • Maintain thorough documentation to comply with school and legal guidelines
  • Transition to a full-time role at the Early Learning Center once the maternity leave concludes
