Customer Service Representative
Location: Portland, OR
Pay: $21-$22/HR
Schedule: Monday-Friday, Full time
Printing company seeking a reliable and experienced customer service representative, looking for someone with knowledge of the industrial printing industry. Candidates must possess a strong blend of customer service and project management experience.
Job Details:
- The main contact point for an assigned customer base, working across department lines as required, ensuring timely closure to all matters
- Is cross trained on all accounts and fills in as needed during staffing shortages
- Develops pricing quotes and estimates, and processes product orders
- Regularly contacts customers, creating a professional relationship while collecting information to update the Production Schedule and changes to job requirements.
- Receives and sends confirmation of job status
- Tracks and maintains delivery dates
- Support client services by coordinating appointments, order processing, and account updates
- Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent service delivery and achieve departmental goals
Qualifications
- Proven experience in customer support or client services preferred
- Ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to be trained in JDE Oracle.
- Excellent phone etiquette, active listening, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure, using available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines
- Strong organizational skills with attention to minute details of a project or task
