In this role, you’ll oversee the daily laundry operations that help ensure residents receive clean linens and personal items while maintaining a safe, efficient, and organized department. RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise laundry staff and assist with the collection, laundering, and distribution of resident linens, garments, and facility laundry Coordinate daily laundry services with other departments to ensure efficient operations and resident satisfaction Develop daily, short-range, and long-range plans for laundry services and department operations Schedule staff, assign duties, evaluate performance, and assist with employee training and orientation Ensure resident personal belongings are properly handled and safeguarded Manage department inventory and order supplies and equipment as needed Maintain compliance with resident rights, safety standards, infection control practices, and facility policies Identify and address operational concerns, equipment issues, and safety hazards Participate as an active member of the interdisciplinary team and perform additional duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS: Minimum education requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree in Environmental Services preferred Minimum experience requirement: 1 year of experience working in a laundry or housekeeping position; 1 year of supervisory experience in a service industry preferred Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Ability to supervise, train, and motivate team members Knowledge of laundry operations, safety practices, and infection control procedures Ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and resident-centered environment BENEFITS: Paid Time Off (PTO) for Full-Time and Part-Time Weekly or Same-Day Pay Options Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Life Insurance Employee Referral Bonus Program Retirement Saving Options Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.For further information, please review the Know Your Rights notice from the Department of Labor. #J-18808-Ljbffr
