Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding opportunity providing physical therapy services in an educational setting near Boston, MA. This contract assignment is designed for experienced professionals who are passionate about helping K-12 students achieve their fullest potential. You’ll work three days per week from July 6, 2026, to July 31, 2026, supporting a manageable caseload of 12-15 students.
Essential Qualifications:
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) License in Massachusetts
- DESE (Department of Elementary and Secondary Education) Certification
- Prior experience in school-based physical therapy strongly preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans for students grades K-12
- Deliver direct physical therapy in alignment with students’ IEPs and educational goals
- Maintain thorough documentation of all evaluations, interventions, and student progress
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and family members to promote student success
- Consult with classroom staff to integrate supportive strategies into daily routines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
