Associate Vice President, Engineering Delivery Management

Work you'll do

As an AVP, Engineering Delivery Management on the Government & Public Services Industry Solutions team, you will be responsible for:

• Lead application delivery teams responsible for the build, operation, and enhancement of Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS)
• Direct end-to-end engineering delivery across scope, schedule, budget, quality, risks, and dependencies
• Partner with client stakeholders, product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to align delivery with program objectives
• Establish delivery governance, issue escalation, and performance reporting to support stable operations and continuous improvement
• Develop and coach engineering and delivery leaders while driving accountability for execution and client service

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree
• 10+ years of experience leading application delivery, engineering delivery, or technology program delivery
• 5+ years of experience leading large-scale Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS), healthcare payer, or state government technology programs
• Experience managing scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies, and vendor coordination for multi-workstream application delivery programs
• Experience leading cross-functional teams that include engineering, testing, architecture, and product or business stakeholders
• Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred:

• Experience supporting MMIS modernization, operations, or enhancement programs
• Experience working with state Medicaid agencies or public sector health programs
• Experience delivering programs using Agile, Scrum, or scaled Agile methods
• Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or SAFe certification
• Experience with cloud-based application delivery environments such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
