About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP of Corporate Accounting to join their management company reporting team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing U.S. corporate accounting operations, including financial reporting, monthly close, budgeting, liquidity forecasting, accounts payable, and complex intercompany accounting in a global environment. This role involves partnering with fund operations on revenue recognition, collaborating with FP&A, legal, compliance, and operations teams, and ensuring strong internal controls and GAAP compliance. The VP will also lead and develop a global accounting team, support audits and regulatory reporting, and drive process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the close and reporting cycle. Applicants for the VP of Corporate Accounting position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' of experience, with a CPA being preferred. A background in public accounting and experience in the alternative assets industry are also required. The role demands an individual with an entrepreneurial spirit, the ability to take initiative and work independently, and a proven track record of managing global teams. Strong communication skills, expert knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, and experience with Workday or an equivalent ERP/accounting system are essential. The VP will be a key stakeholder in various departments and will be involved in special project work as the team is built out.
