Jr Accountant

Job Description Responsibilities: Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and bank reconciliations Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial reporting Review accounts payable disbursements and allocate payments correctly Assist external auditors during audits Contribute to the preparation of state and local tax filings Stay informed about updates to accounting standards Utilize accounting technology efficiently Complete additional tasks as assigned by management Qualifications: 2 to 3 years Proven experience in accounting roles Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting Experience with maintaining general ledger and preparing financial statements Ability to work effectively with external auditors Familiarity with state and local tax regulations Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Pay DOE $29 to $31 All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
